Sarah Orozco
Sarah is a fourth-year undergraduate at Emory University studying environmental science with a focus on health. She manages Instagram while assisting various other projects, and has previously worked on air pollution education, the COPD study, and Greenovation for the lab. Also with Dr. Saikawa, Sarah attended COP29 as part of the 2024 Emory delegation. In her hometown of Washington, D.C., Sarah has interned at WMATA and DC Water. She is currently co-president of club Emory Gender Expansive and Women’s Ultimate frisbee and Emory Climate Reality Project climate action chair, and has also worked in Emory Orientation. She looks forward to entering her career after graduation, and is most interested in equitable air and water quality, climate change, local government, housing, and transportation.
